Mumbai on high alert after terror attack

Mumbai, Nov 26: Indiscriminate firing and coordinated blasts in eight places of South Mumbai left 16 dead and around 50 injured in the nation’s financial capital on Wednesday night. All the blasts have taken place in the vicinity of posh hotels in the area, including the Taj and the Trident.

The firing has taken places at the Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railways station, outside Café Leopold in Colaba, Nariman point and outside the Taj and the Tridient, formely Oberoi hotel. Indiscriminate firing was reported from the Taj hotel, with sources saying that 4 terrorists could be holed up inside.

The terror strike which began at 1033 PM at Chhatrapathi Shivaji Terminus(CST),formerly known as the Victoria Terminus(VT), claimed 10 lives in the premises of the station alone, police said.

India won the series against England with 4-0 lead

India sealed the ODI series against England with a thrilling 19 run win at Bangalore. The match proved to be a thriller despite the loss of numerous overs. India scored 166-4 in the rain-hit fourth one-day international against England here on Sunday.England must reach a target of 198 to win the match according to the Duckworth-Lewis method.
