India beat Australia to win series 2-0

Nagpur, Nov 10: India secured a historic Test series victory against Australia on Monday as they crushed the tourists by 172 runs in the fourth and final Test match played at Nagpur. The win meant the Indians won the series 2-0 to reclaim the coveted Border-Gavaskar Trophy after 8 long years, having beaten the visitors earlier in the second Test at Mohali. Jason Krejza was declared Man of the Match for his 12 wickets on debut while Ishant Sharma was declared Man of the Series for his 15 wickets.

A glorious career comes to an end on Monday… Sourav Ganguly, a man with a never-say-die spirit, will be seen on the field wearing the Indian cap for the last time today. Known as the best ever captain to have represented India, the Royal Bengal Tiger will bid his adieu to cricket today and will be remembered as a man who had a career as dramatic as it can be.
